The summit is a 3 hour training session for anyone with a spiritual influence on the life of a child or youth. The majority of those in attendance will be parents. However, those with a relationship with nieces, nephews, grandchildren, neighbors or friends and wish to increase their tools in which to guide them toward adulthood with the goal of continuing strong relationships with God and their family are welcome and will benefit from this time.
The first hour of the summit will be a large group of families focusing on big picture. Pastors Bill, Tim and Echo will teach on the role you can have in a child's life and the impact that is possible. The next 2 hours the participants will be broken down into small groups based on the stage of life of their children. This small group time will be led by a Stone Leader. Each Stone Leader is a parent who has been through the stage and can share from their training and from personal experience some tools to guide children to the next step. Each Stone Leader will also give a recommended reading list as a resource for you to learn more as you guide the children in your life.
The Family Discipleship Summit will be offered twice in one week to accommodate the busy schedule of families. Choose a date that works for your family: October 28th 3-6pm.
