This past Sunday I shared with our community a prayer that I wrote concerning the essential relationship between hearing God's voice and the Bible.  We prayerfully read it together at the end of my sermon.  I have heard from several people that it was very meaningful to them.  Perhaps you could take a moment to pray it as well!

God, please impart a passionate love and appreciation for the gift of the Holy Scriptures.  Excite my soul with the knowledge that the Bible is indeed the supernatural Word of God that reveals the reality of who you are and the mysteries of your Kingdom.  Increase my hunger for your Word, and grace me with discipline and an urgency to intentionally get your Word within me.  And cause me to be a person you can count on to obey and apply the Word you speak to me.  Amen!

On Tuesday afternoon of the conference I sat with Bill Johnson and Banning Liebscher and responded to questions presented from the conference participants.  On Wednesday afternoon Tim Kayser facilitated a Q&A session with Ron Walborn, Paul King and myself that answered further questions regarding the theology and practical implications regarding the supernatural ministry of Jesus today.  I am making these available to everyone because I believe these sessions may help address the questions and concerns that some people in our church family still have regarding the conference and its impact on us as a church.  I still am receiving testimonies from friends in Redding and leaders throughout the country regarding the supernatural impact of God’s work among us at the conference.  Glory to God!
