Last week the church offices officially moved to our new facility. We're still unpacking, but I thought you might like to see how some of the spaces are looking. Click on any of the three pictures to open the photo gallery (15 pictures total).
Just a reminder: This Sunday (June 7) is our last one at Mistletoe. Beginning June 14 we will be meeting at our new facility on Oasis Road, with our Dedication Service scheduled for June 26 at 7 p.m. and our Grand Opening services on Sunday, June 28 at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 6 p.m.
Check out these recent photos of our Oasis facility and campus! The floor in the worship center is stained, the modulars are almost all in place, and the prayer path is nearing completion. We are on track for our Grand Opening on June 28!

Our churchwide prayer emphasis starts Monday, May 18! The focus of this prayer emphasis is our move to our new facility on Oasis Road. We are praying that God would prepare us, prepare the facility and property, and prepare new people to join us there.
We have prepared a guide to give you some ideas for prayer: No literature found.
Contact the church office if you have any questions!
Things are really coming together for our new facility! We also are making progress on our prayer path. We are beginning with a 1/3 mile loop with 12 prayer stations. Each station will be set back from the main path a little bit (see first photo). This will allow people who are using the path for exercise not to get in the way of people using the path as a tool for spiritual formation. Putting decomposed granite on the prayer path will be one of the main projects we work on during our Work Day next Saturday (May 2).
As you can see from the facility photos, most of the painting has been done. Cabinets were installed this week. We are on track for our Grand Opening on Sunday, June 28!
As always, if you have any questions, contact me at the church office (244-2300).

Just a freindly note to let you know that I tried two times to find your place while in town for Simpson Graduation and failed to accomplish my task. Missed worship. There should be a little more information that indicates you are the same Risen King as is meeting at Misletoe School, if in fact that is true and that you are not presently at the address shown on Oasis. I was confussed. Curtis
Sheet rock has been hung and is being finished on the inside of the building. The light fixtures are being installed, as well. Outside, the stairs that will go down to the classroom level are being built. And at the street, our sign lettering is in place! Within the next week the glass should go in all the window frames and the doors should all be hung. Metal roof panels are being installed as well. By the first week of March we hope to be putting in insulation and dry wall!
Our Grand Opening is scheduled for Sunday, June 28.
If you have any questions about Oasis, contact me (Tim Kayser) at the church office.
It's been a busy week on the property. On Monday the cone was hoisted into place. Now, framers are working to finish the roof and area around the cone. Electricians, plumbers, framers, and dry wallers have been busy as well. Check out these two photo galleries:
I was out on the property today (Friday, Jan. 16) and took these pictures. You can see the siding is going up (the gray color is only a primer; it will be painted a light brown). Also notice the electrical conduit is being run on the roof. The steel skeleton of our "cone" structure is complete. It will be painted this weekend and hoisted into place on Monday. Once in place, the roofers will install roofing panels on it when they do the rest of the roof.
Head out to the property and see all this for yourself! The best times to go are in the evenings and on weekends (so we stay out of the way of the workers).
As always, if you have any questions, please contact me.
