About Risen King
Our Mission & Vision
Our purpose as a faith community is to live out the mission passed down to us through the generations by Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament. As a local community of Christ followers we are passionately proclaiming and incarnating the good news of Jesus Christ in the city of Redding and beyond. Informed by God’s Word and empowered by His Spirit we are making more and better disciples of Jesus who are fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission in creative and culturally relevant ways.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance Mission Statement
Our mission is to know Jesus Christ; exalt Him as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King; and complete His Great Commission:
Evangelizing and discipling persons throughout the United States, and Incorporating them into Christ-centered, community-focused congregations, Mobilizing them for active involvement in a missionary effort designed to plant Great Commission churches among both unreached and responsive peoples worldwide
