In February, my right knee started to bother me so I went to the doctor and I found I needed arthroscopic surgery on a torn meniscus. A date was finally set in April and I was grateful to finally get my knee fixed. During the pre-op check, my blood test was all messed up, so surgery was postponed and I was sent to a hematologist to determine the source of my abnormal blood test. It was determined that I needed a bone marrow biopsy to figure out the problem. During the week before the biopsy, many people were concerned and praying for me as they had been all along. When I went back the next week for the bone marrow biopsy, it was found in the blood test that my blood was nearly back to normal levels. Therefore, no biopsy was needed. I know it was God’s healing hand on my body that brought my blood back to normal. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Next week I will have another blood test and then be back on the schedule for knee surgery, unless the Lord decides to heal my knee as well! (Deb Wiseman)

Volunteers and Safety

The individuals serving in your child’s classroom have filled out applications, reference checks, and completed a background check. The volunteers have been well trained, prayed over, and follow procedures to ensure your child’s safety.

There are several opportunities to serve with our KIDS ministry. If you are interested in finding out more about becoming a part of this dynamic team please contact Echo Kayser through the church office for a First Look. First Look is a fun way to introduce you to all of the ministry opportunities here at Risen King K.I.D.S.

We've made it easy for you to learn more and take a FIRST LOOK at some or all of our ministries in action, and there's no commitment until you find one that is right for you, your family and your calling.

If you would like to find out more about serving on the KIDS Ministry team, let us know by filling out the "I'm interested" Form.

If you are ready to join the K.I.D.S. ministry team, click here and scroll down to the KIDS MINISTRY section to download an application. Thank you for considering serving God's children here at Risen King.

Our Security Tag System

To keep your children safe and to ensure communication with parents, we have a security tag system in place for children birth-Kindergarten. The adult will sign in at the classroom that the child is attending for service.

The parents will choose a two-part tag with a call number. One part is clipped to the child and the other part stays with the parent.

This number will be displayed in the lower left hand corner of the screen in the worship center if the parent is needed. For security purposes, the number on the parent tag will be matched up with the number on the child's tag at the time of pick-up.
