Manchester, England

Sarah Parodi serves with Pioneer Missions in Manchester England. Sarah was a worship leader here at Risen King and moved to Manchester to work with her father in planting an international church out of the Chinese Alliance Church in Manchester. She ministers to internationals and refugees from North Africa, the Middle East and beyond who come to Manchester for University studies. She is also very involved in teaching multicultural worship to churches and organizations.

South Africa

Shannon Mintz was actively involved on youth staff here at Risen King while attending Simpson University. She serves through YWAM Montana in South Africa ministering to the urban poor and lower classes of the South African Culture. She is very involved in discipling women and teaching children in impoverished ghettos. Shannon has battled breast cancer for the past 5 years.

Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota

Peter & Tanya Kinney were members of Risen King who answered a call for full time ministry with Cadence International. They serve as hospitality house hosts near Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. They conduct bible studies for Air Force personnel and help the on-base chaplains minister to airmen and officers. They host a meal each week for a bible study group, provide a homelike atmosphere for airmen, disciple individuals, conduct outings & retreats for the airmen, and provide family holiday celebrations for the airmen.

Shasta College

Alexandria Jeminez is the Intervarsity leader for Shasta College. We support her ministry of Bible Studies, discipleship groups, evangelism, retreats and conferences for students at Shasta College. We previously had supported Derek and Chelsie Jung, who were members of Risen King and the Intervarsity staff at Shasta College. We have a heart for the students at Shasta College and support the work of Intervarsity. John Wiseman and Katie Littlepage serve on the Intervarsity Advisory Council for Shasta’s Intervarsity Ministry. Derrek Jung is now head of Chico State Intervarsity and Chelsie oversees Intervarsity endeavors over Northern California and Southern Oregon at Community Colleges.

REDDING, CA

Redding is our home, and the people in it — all of them — matter to God. That's why we're partnering with Good News Rescue Mission, an organization that's been showing up for Redding's homeless and hurting since 1964. They offer emergency shelter, meals, clothing, and recovery programs — but more than that, they offer real hope to people who need it most.

This is what it looks like for us to love God, love people, love Redding. We don't just want to be a church that gathers on Sundays — we want to bring His presence and power into our city all week long. Partnering with GNRM is one of the ways we do that together.

REDDING, CA

Shiloh Flower Farm is a nonprofit creating a healing home for women rebuilding their lives after homelessness and addiction — walking them through community, therapy, life skills, and job training as they find their footing and step into something new. We at Risen King are partnering with Shiloh Flower Farm because this is exactly what it looks like to love God, love people, love Redding. When women in our city get a real chance to heal, grow, and belong — that's the Kingdom breaking through. We're honored to link arms with them and be part of that story.

REDDING, CA

Right here in Redding, NorthState Care Clinic is showing up for women and families at one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. They offer free, confidential pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and compassionate options counseling — giving people honest information and real support so they can make decisions from a place of clarity, not fear. They even bring their mobile clinic across the North State, meeting people where they are.

We at Risen King are proud to partner with NorthState Care Clinic because we believe every life matters — and so does every person facing an uncertain moment. This is what it looks like to love God, love people, love Redding. We want to be a church that surrounds the vulnerable with care, and NorthState Care Clinic is doing exactly that, one conversation at a time.

THAILAND

Since 1992, Rescue Kids International has been on the front lines fighting child trafficking — rescuing over 1,000 kids from some of the darkest places on earth, and giving them homes, education, medical care, and a real future. Based right here in Redding, their work stretches across Asia, Africa, and beyond — and the urgency behind everything they do is love. rescuekids

We at Risen King are partnering with Rescue Kids International because loving people doesn't stop at our city limits. When children are being exploited and enslaved around the world, we want to be a church that says not on our watch. This partnership is one of the ways we live out our mission to love God, love people, love Redding — and let that love reach further than we ever could alone.

MEXICO

MARKED is a movement born out of one simple, audacious dream — that orphanages would one day be emptied, not filled. Working in Latin America, they partner with children's homes, at-risk communities, and families to break cycles of poverty, trafficking, and abandonment through sports, mentorship, education, therapy, and job creation. This isn't charity — it's transformation from the root up. MARKED

We at Risen King are partnering with MARKED because loving people means showing up for the vulnerable, no matter where they are. When families are made whole and kids are given a future they never thought possible, that's the Kingdom on the move.
