Pioneer Missions in Manchester England
Sarah Parodi serves with Pioneer Missions in Manchester England. Sarah was a worship leader here at Risen King and moved to Manchester to work with her father in planting an international church out of the Chinese Alliance Church in Manchester. She ministers to internationals and refugees from North Africa, the Middle East and beyond who come to Manchester for University studies. She is also very involved in teaching multicultural worship to churches and organizations.
YWAM Montana in South Africa
Shannon Mintz was actively involved on youth staff here at Risen King while attending Simpson University. She serves through YWAM Montana in South Africa ministering to the urban poor and lower classes of the South African Culture. She is very involved in discipling women and teaching children in impoverished ghettos. Shannon has battled breast cancer for the past 5 years.
Cadence International
Peter & Tanya Kinney were members of Risen King who answered a call for full time ministry with Cadence International. They serve as hospitality house hosts near Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. They conduct bible studies for Air Force personnel and help the on-base chaplains minister to airmen and officers. They host a meal each week for a bible study group, provide a homelike atmosphere for airmen, disciple individuals, conduct outings & retreats for the airmen, and provide family holiday celebrations for the airmen.
Intervarsity leader for Shasta College
Alexandria Jeminez is the Intervarsity leader for Shasta College. We support her ministry of Bible Studies, discipleship groups, evangelism, retreats and conferences for students at Shasta College. We previously had supported Derek and Chelsie Jung, who were members of Risen King and the Intervarsity staff at Shasta College. We have a heart for the students at Shasta College and support the work of Intervarsity. John Wiseman and Katie Littlepage serve on the Intervarsity Advisory Council for Shasta’s Intervarsity Ministry. Derrek Jung is now head of Chico State Intervarsity and Chelsie oversees Intervarsity endeavors over Northern California and Southern Oregon at Community Colleges.
Short Term Missions
- Marked Missions; Rural Communities Outside Guadalajara Mexico
Michael and Jaclyn Miller lead MARKED, a ministry based outside of Guadalajara, Mexico, serving in surrounding rural communities. MARKED is committed to long-term transformation, working to restore individuals, strengthen families, and help reshape systems that impact everyday life. Their approach integrates mentorship, sports programming, education, and community development, alongside ongoing partnerships with local leaders and institutions.
With a full-time team on the ground, MARKED provides consistent, year-round presence and also hosts short-term mission teams who come alongside their work—building relationships, serving communities, and participating in what is already being established locally.
Risen King has been invited to join MARKED on multiple mission trips for the 2026 calendar year.

- Rescue Kids, Mae Soi, Thailand
Rescue Kids International serves vulnerable children and families in the border regions of Thailand, especially around Mae Sot, where exploitation and human trafficking are ongoing threats. Through long-term partnerships with trusted local leaders, we work to rescue children from crisis, restore families, and develop future leaders through child protection, education, leadership training, and family support. We exist to bridge the gap between vulnerable communities and people around the world willing to make a difference.
This mission is relational, meaningful, and designed for people to serve side by side with humility. Short-term teams support ongoing community programs, build lasting relationships, and step into work already making an impact. This trip is more than a journey—it is the beginning of activation.
